My Take on the Wild Cards

Hi everyone,
I'll be doing a series of "Wild Cards" from the Wild Cards cartridge, I'll number each card so you will know where to find it in your booklet. I'll start with #1 and continue on to the end. However, I may break it up a bit and add other projects in between all the wild cards.

I've let my daughter choose the pattern paper from my huge stash then I grab coordinating solids.

I'm a retired Stampin' Up! demonstrator from 1998-2008... yep 10 years, so most of my cardstock and pattern paper are from Stampin' Up.

Here is Wild Card #1
Wild Card #2

A Spidery Halloween Popcorn Box

I love creating 3-D projects.
The two Cricut cartridges I use are "Tags, Bags, Boxes & More" and "Doodlecharms" The photo below are the pieces that were cut using the Cricut Expressions for this project (except the white strip, I wanted you to see the cute spiders).

From the "Tags, Bags..." cartridge I used the popcorn box on with the blackout feature, cutting at 5 1/4" I cut 2 boxes on a 12 x12 sheet of cardstock, then with pattern paper cut the same as before. I only used about 1 1/2" (measuring from the top) of the pattern paper for the finished box, as you can see in the finished photo, you could use more if you wanted.
I cut the spiders 1 1/2" using "Doodlecharms" then added tiny colored brads for eyes. The tag was cut using the round foundation tag same size as the spider.
I used a pop-dot on the spiders all around the box and on the tag. Finished box size is approximately 3 1/2" tall.

I hope you enjoy this fun gift box. If you have any questions just let me know.
Have a wonderful creative day!

My Favorite Things...

These are a few of my favorite things...
My family
Sunshine
Snowmen and Snowflakes
Smiling and Laughing out loud
Shooting Stars
Paper Crafting, and creating with the Cricut and Cuttlebug...

The list goes on....

I've created this blog is to share my love of paper crafting with my friends (and all the new friends I will make)

These two above cards were made using the "Walk in My Garden" Cricut cartridge and the "D'vine Swirls" and "Houndstooth" Cuttlebug embossing folders. Card sizes are 4".

"Celebrations" Cricut cartridge was used to make this sweet cupcake and words. I also used the "D'vine Swirls" Cuttlebug embossing folder (my favorite folder). I added stickles to the top of the cupcake (smeared it around a bit) to give it sparkle.
