I LOVE Primary -Mailbox

I was asked to decorate this mailbox for our church primary children's class. This box will hold a special gift for a child when they have a birthday. I liked how it turned out.

I used Doodletype cricut cartridge for the "I LOVE Primary". Using my gypsy I welded the letters together.
The new Birthday Bash cartridge was used for the "Happy Birthday" from pg. 42 of the handbook. I cut it out three times in blue, yellow and red then just over lapped them just a bit to create a shadow. The balloons were cut from the same cartridge, I cut 6 two of each color and one of each color being "flipped" so I could adhere them together. I added thin wire to the balloons for the string. Red ric-rack gave it a finishing touch. Super cute!!

Share the LOVE -Fantabulous Cricut Crawl

Hi everyone,
I'm so happy that you've taken the time to visit me at Robin's Creative Cottage today, I'm the creator of Fantabulous Cricut, and I hope you've come to enjoy the 4th Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, this is Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop!

If you've come along for the "Share the LOVE Cricut Crawl" then you've just come from visiting "Scrappin' With my Bug", Michelle's blog. I hope you took some time to look around her blog, she's very talented and has great projects to share. If you've just happen to come across my blog and would play along with the Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, then begin -HERE

Valentine's Day is in in a week, and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to "Share the Love"! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original Valentine-themed project that includes the word "LOVE" somewhere on it. Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! And there may be PRIZES along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, Also there is a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Share the LOVE" project at FCCB (Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog)... So much fun!

**For my "Share the LOVE" project I cut out a clear box using the Once Upon a Princess cricut cartridge. I used my "Heart Blocks" cuttlebug embossing folder on the plastic... wow... the box turned out amazing! ---I'm defiantly going to do a video on this technique because if I tried to explain it, it may not be clear for you to follow... so watch my blog for the video to come soon.

For the hearts, the word "LOVE" and the key, I used the Sweethearts cricut cartridge, added just a hint of pink "bling" to the heart. The "LOVE" was cut in black then I added glitter for "sparkle".
I created this project on my gypsy so the following measurements are approximate...box was cut at 6" tall x 10 1/2" wide, heart 2 1/2 tall and the key 2" tall.
