Bloom Where You're Planted -for Everyday Cricut

I am fortunate to be the wife of a career military man, and we have moved to 5 different Air Force bases in the US and around the world. I have enjoyed all the places that we've been, It's been a wonderful adventure, I have met so many wonderful people along the way, the military has been a blessing for our family. Even through all the ups and downs, I've always tried to live by a saying that I learned years ago in my youth...

"Bloom where you're planted"

We don't always get to choose our circumstances in life, but we do get to choose our attitude and do the best we can with what we have.

For Thursday's Everyday Cricut project, I have a "Home Decor" creation using a $3 picture fame, I turned it into a lovely wall hanging, using the words "Bloom where you're planted"

For details about this project please visit Everyday Cricut -HERE

"Bloom where you're planted" no mater where you are. :)

Remember to leave a comment at Everyday Cricut for your chance to win one of these two fantastic cartridges.... Give a Hoot and Nursery Rhymes. Good Luck!!!

  11. Robin,

I love that saying, too! My husband's job has always taken me further from my family than I'd like to be, but I also remember Ann Landers saying, "You gotta go where the grapes go!"

I've been enjoying your stint over at Everyday Cricut this week! :)

  12. Robin, I just love this project. I relly like the font you used. Just might have to get that cartridge. I was a military child and also in the military. I went to 13 schools in 12 years. And we always "Bloomed where we were planted". Thanks for sharing your creations with us and inspiring us.

  20. Lovely idea! I forgot about that saying. I'm an ex army wife and at our wives meetings that was said to our new memebers.
Now my daughter is an Army wife. I look forward to hearing about all her adventures. Proud to have been a military wife! Thanks for reminding me of that saying. May God Bless you and your Family.

  22. I am new to the whole cricut scene. I just ordered my new cricut expression just two days ago from HSN. I can't wait to start getting creative! I never thought of doing Wall Decor and this project is just wonderful. I can also relate to the military family and bouncing all over. My Dad was in the Army and I didn't live in the USA until I was 15! I wouldn't trade the experience for anything though!
