So I created a cute "snail mail" card, this cute snail is cut at 4" from the Birthday Bash cricut cartridge. The card measures 5 1/2" square.
My thanks tag was cut from the Tiny Tags metal dies and stamped using Kimberly's Tiny Tags stamp set, the twine is Caribbean. All available from My Craft Spot.

I had so much fun last week sharing projects with the My Craft Spot stamp sets and metal dies and now I'm thrilled to announce the winners...
Winner of the Lacy Banners Metal Dies donated by Kimberly is..
(chosen by random.org)
#71 Karen
She said:  Oh Robin, you always create such wonderful projects! You always showcase Kimberly's stamps so beautifully. This mitten is stunning and I had to giggle because I'm making mittens right now, too! Except little kid ones, not fancy like this. Every detail is gorgeous and I especially love the cluster of pretties and the felt snowflake. Such a clever placement of the banner, too. My favorite of this spectacular release is Joy to the World, due to its heartwarming sentiments about the true meaning of Christmas. :o)
Hugs and blessings!

 Congratulations Karen!!!!

My Craft Spot *Blog Hop*

Woo Hoo... today is the My Craft Spot Stamp Release Blog Hop. I know I've had a wonderful time sharing projects from all 5 new stamp sets and dies; Lacy Banner Metal Dies, Chunky Alphabet, Stampin' Around Christmas, Joy to the World, Think Snow and Mistletoe. All stamp sets and metal dies are available for purchase today at My Craft Spot.

Today the inspiration continues with more ideas from Kimberly and the design team using the new stamp sets and each design team member will have a stamp set to give away as well... so exciting huh!!!  If you've just hopped here from my talented friend Gwen's Blog -This and That by Gwen then you are in just the right place for the blog hop, if you would like to start at the beginning of the hop start  then please go to My Craft Spot -HERE.
Blog hop order:
Kimberly
Robin (you are here)

My project is a pocket mitten cut from Joys of the Season cricut cartridge pg. 51 cut at 5 /12" tall, I omitted the markings on the mitten using my gypsy, I just realized I should have used the "blackout" feature.... duh ;)
I didn't use my sewing machine to stitch two mittens together, this was done by hand (going around corners especially tight corners like the thumb is very difficult for me with my sewing machine), I poked holds using my poker tool then stitched using a needle and thread (doubled).
My tag is from the new Lacy Banner metal die I stamped using the new Think Snow stamp set and tucked it under the white felt that I used for the cuff.
The felt snowflake was cut using a cuttlebug die, then added a cherry blossom from I am Roses.
I made a bow using two different colors of crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot then added a flower from I am Roses and placed a stick pin with a few beads behind the flower.
I'm so excited to give the metal die set that I designed away, Lacy Banner Metal Dies to one fantabulous winner, for your chance to win...
1)  please become a follower of my blog (if you are not already)

Day 5 -My Craft Spot Release Party

Hello all my friends, I hope you have followed along this week for the fabulous Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot, I know the design team and I have really enjoyed sharing so many inspiring projects with you, and today day 5, the inspiration continues.
We are showing a sneak peek with you of the new Mistletoe stamp set a lovely stamp set that is wonderful for your Christmas cards and projects.

Today I've created a simple country Christmas card with a patchwork background, it was fun to make.
For the patchwork background, I choose 4 patterned paper designs and cut each into 1 1/4" squares. Then cut a piece of cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (that was my card front size). I added a small amount of adhesive to the back of each square then placed on the piece of cardstock, some of the squares were hanging over the edge, after all the squares were stuck gently on I just trimmed the edged that hung over.
Then using my sewing machine I stitched where each pattern paper meet, all the threads were taped on the back side. I attached the patchwork background to a folded 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of cardstock.
I love this beautiful saying from the Miseltoe stamp set, I used a spellbinders lacy oval die for the background that I stamped on, and used a bit of Tim Holtz Antique Photo ink for the oval center before removing the die from my cut out.
My poinsettia was cut in various sizes using Joys of the Season cricut cartridge, I inked the edges then sprayed generously using Bronze Glimmer Mist, then glued tiny yellow beads to the center of the flower.

Thanks for joining me for day 5 of my sneak peek, please join us tomorrow for the My Craft Spot blog hop where the design team will once again inspire you with a project using one of the 5 stamp sets, as well as each design team members (including myself) will be giving away one of the 5 stamp sets generously provided by Kimberly.

Day 4 -My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party

Here we are at day 4 of the Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot, and I'm having so much fun with these Winter/Christmas projects! Today we are sharing a sneak peek of the new "Think Snow" stamp set, you will have so much fun creating cards and project using this set. Remember the 5 new stamp sets and Lacy banner dies will be available for purchase at My Craft Spot on Saturday.

For today's project I definitely wanted a "snow" theme, so I added snow... white wool felt for a very soft look, I stitched the top layer of my snow using my sewing machine.
I know the winter weather is coming soon, so I use the phrase 'Baby, it's Cold outside!' from the Think Snow stamp set, this set has so many wonderful winter and snow phrases for all your winter cards and projects. Kimberly always does a wonderful job designing stamps sets with fun fonts and phrases.
I couldn't resist using the Lacy Banner Metal Dies and the Chunky Alphabet stamp set to stamp the word 'SNOW' on my card.
I love how Ally stitched her banners together for her card on Monday -HERE, so I gave that idea a try and love the look! My banners and the star shape were cut from wool felt, not the cheep felt, because it cuts much cleaner when using the metal dies. The white circle was cut from natural white cardstock from Stampin' Up!
On each side of the banner I added brown jute string and a tiny prima rose.
As I was looking at the new Banner die I turned the die upside down and look what triangle became... a tree!
I cut three trees out of felt and decorated them with clear gems, so pretty!
Thanks for visiting my blog today, there are more great projects made by Kimberly and her design team using the brand new Think Snow stamp set so head over to My Craft Spot, and while you are there remember to leave a comment on Kimberly's blog (My Craft Spot) today for your chance to win the New Arrival Stamp Set. click -HERE for My Craft Spot.

Today is day 3 of the Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot and we are giving you a sneak peek at the third stamp set, "Joy to the World". Kimberly has used beautiful fonts for each phrase.

My card today is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
The holly leaves and berries were cut using the Joys of the Season Cricut Cartridge from page 72 of the handbook cut at 1 3/4".
The red border is an EK Success border punch Dotted Scallop.
I love this beautiful Christmas Greetings font, I stamped on a background cut using the Tiny Doily Dies available at My Craft Spot, behind the die in green jute string a new item available at My Craft Spot.

Day 2 -My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party

Hi everyone, welcome to day 2 of the Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot
Today Kimberly and the design team are giving a sneak peek of the new stamp set "Stampin' Around Christmas" Once again Kimberly gave me the opportunity to design this stamp set, which goes perfectly with the Tiny Doily Metal Dies that were release in September.
Stampin' Around Christmas has a variety of Winter and Christmas circle sentiments, I choose the "Joy to the World" for my card and used the Tiny Doily Metal Dies.
The star was cut using George and Basic Shapes cricut cartridge, cut approx. 3" wide, I used a distressed tool to rough up the edges.
I added a bow using the yummy Gingerbread Cookies crinkle ribbon available at My Craft Spot.
I embossed using Tim Holtz Woodgrain embossing folder.
I've done tons of inking on this card using the Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink, Antique Linen, Tea Dye and on the embossed paper I used the vintage photo as well as a small amount of black and white inks.
This sweet baby Jesus was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up cricut cartridge pg 76, I also cut the manger as well.  For the straw I cut thin strips of cardstock and wrinkled it up in my hand then glued it to the manger, and below. I stamped the face using Peachy Keen Stamps PK-570 (I omitted the mouth on the stamp).
You'll want to see more images from the Stampin' Around Christmas stamp set so head over to My Craft Spot to see the fun projects made by Kimberly and her design team using the new Stampin' Around Christmas, also remember to leave a comment on Kimberly's blog (My Craft Spot) today for your chance to win the Tiny Doily Metal Dies, click -HERE for My Craft Spot.

Today, day one, we are featuring the new "Chunky Alphabet" stamp set and "Lacy Banners Metal Dies" (8 dies). Kimberly gave me the opportunity once again to design this alphabet stamp set along with the fun and versatile banner dies.
For my project today I've made an awesome long Winter card the size is 9 1/4" x 4" which can fit into a long legal envelope.
I cut the lacy banner die in a dark blue cardstock, then the second layer was a dark blue patterned paper. A green pattern paper for the star shape, then white cardstock for the round circle that I stamped each letter "WINTER" on.
I punched small holds at the top of each banner and placed a small eyelet so I could run the string through.
Snow White crinkle ribbon and Natural string (Available from My Craft Spot) was glued on each end of the banner.
The word "Happy" was stamped from Kimberly's Sweet Sentiments #1 stamp set
The small snowflakes (glitter cardstock) was an old punch that I've had for years, and the larger snowflake was a cuttlebug die
Do you love these new banner dies, and this great Chunky Alphabet stamp set?  There is also another shape to this banner set, so to see that you what to head over to My Craft Spot to see the other amazing projects made by Kimberly and her design team using the brand new Chunky Alphabet stamp set and Lacy Banner Metal Dies.

Teddy Bear Witch -My Craft Spot Project

Hello, everyone,  are you ready for Halloween?  I wanted to share one more Halloween project with you for the My Craft Spot challenge this week, the theme is...
Too Cute To Spook
Make a Cute Halloween Project.

When I was at Wal-Mart the other day I occasionally look at their cricut cartridge (even though my Wal-Mart never discounts their cartridges), so to pay $40 for a cartridge is so unlike me... well, I saw a cartridge that I hadn't ever seen before... Teddy Bear Parade, have you heard of it? I fell in love with it so I had to buy it... yes even at that price :)
Look at this adorable little teddy bear witch... she is too cute to spook!

I used the Best Witches to You stamp set with the Tiny Doily Metal dies along with Golden Harvest and Marmalade crinkle ribbon, all are available at My Craft Spot.
Added some zig zag stitching on the marmalade crinkle ribbon.
I cut the teddy bear at 3 1/2" and added a bit of Tim Holtz antique photo ink on the bear edges.
Inside of card using the same Best Witches to You stamp set

Spider Ghosts Goblins -My Craft Spot Project

Hello friends, I have a fun wiggly spider card that I made for the My Craft Spot challenge, this weeks challenge is...
Emboss It
heat embossing or dry embossing

I choose dry embossing using my Cuttlebug machine and one of the Mini Monster embossing folders, I rubbed white chalk on the embossed edges and a bit on the center of the card.
The spider  was cut using Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge, at 3 1/2" I omitted the face using my gypsy and added two different sizes of googly eyes.

I used the Tiny Doily Metal dies to stamp my sentiment and spider from the Stampin' Around Fall stamp set both can be purchased from Kimberly at My craft spot -HERE, Along with the black crinkle ribbon.
Side view
I used the homemade action wobbles using the technique that Kimberly has shown in her video -HERE.
Inside of the card stamped using the Best Witches to you stamp set, the spider  is from the Stampin' Around Fall stamp set, then I hand drew the line above the spider.
There are more great Embossing ideas over at My Craft Spot, come on over and join us for this weeks challenge -HERE.
