Christmas Shape Card -My Craft Spot Challenge

Hello everyone time for another fun challenge at My Craft Spot.  This weeks challenge is...
Christmas Shape Cards
I love making shape cards and this one is very simple, but I love the humble look, and the beautiful sentiments that I stamped using My Craft Spot stamp sets.
My silhouette image is from the Silhouette online store "Christmas Nativity (1 of 2) by Lori Whitlock" I stretched the image just a bit so it would make a taller size card.  I added a simple off set .24, I cut that shape once individually then welded two of the same images together to make the shape card.
The sentiment is from the new Joy Filled Christmas stamp set, I backed it with a small piece of burlap.
For the black silhouette image I used black vinyl, it's cuts beautifully and already has a sticky backing, I love using vinyl on cards.
Close up view of phrase.
This is the inside of my card, the sentiment is from Joy To The World stamp set, the star is from the Merry Christmas stamp set.
Thanks for visiting today, remember to head over to My Craft Spot to see more 'Favorite Techniques' projects made by the My Craft Spot design team -HERE. We would love you to join us for this weeks Christmas shape card challenge.

  5. Hi Robin! I simply HAD to pop by and tell you how much I love your card! The silhouette nativity is so striking and your inking is fabulous. The verse is absolutely perfect! While I always enjoy Santas, snowmen, trees and gingerbread themes, I'm always especially drawn to cards highlighting the very first Christmas.

  6. Hi Robin.

I know that it is an older post, but i really love this card. I've tried to weld the two card sides togheter for about 2 hours now in my silhouette studio program, but i can't figure out, to get the 3 spots together. Can you maybe tell me how to do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best wishes,
    Britta from Denmark :-)
