Day 1 -Clock Time ~New Releae

Let the party begin!!!  Today is day one of the week long Stamp Release Party at My Craft Spot.
Each day Kimberly and the design team (which I'm so happy to be a part of) will be sharing projects all week long from the four new stamp sets and two metal die sets, you are going to love these new stamp sets and metal dies which will be available to purchase on Saturday June 7th.

There will be prizes at My Craft Spot, everyday this week, then on Saturday we'll have a design team Stamp Release Party Blog Hop with prizes at each blog along the way!
Woo Hoo... so much fun Right?  Join us everyday this week!!

Today we are featuring the Clock Time stamp set that Kimberly has designed, I also used the oldie but goodie 4" Doily metal die, the Tiny Doilies 2 metal die and the Tiny Doilies metal die sets for my project.
I came a cross this copper metallic cardstock that I've had in my stash for years and thought it would work prefect for my tick-tock clock card.  I love the sentiment in this stamp set.
Close up of the clock image, placed on top of a die cut image from the Tiny Doilies 2 metal die, which is then place on top of the 4" Doily metal die cut image.

I stamped the clock face with black ink then used gold embossing for the clock hands and added a brad the the center of the clock.
Below I have a photo tutorial of how I cut the clock image a prefect circle using the Tiny Doilies metal die set.
(This is the Tiny Doilies metal die there are 6 dies in this set)
I used the largest solid circle from this metal die set (upper left corner).
1) cut the circle from a scrap piece of cardstock, on a separate piece of cardstock stamp your image.
2) place the cut out circle cardstock directly over the stamped image secure with tape.
3) place the metal die in the circle cut out, you can feel it drop right into place, secure with tape to keep it from moving when die cutting.
4) die cut as you would any thin metal die using your machine of choice... "ta dah" perfectly cut circle.
Close up of sentiment from the Clock Time stamp set. I added a bit of copper cording again this has been in my stash for years.
Side view of card, I used pop-dots to lift the clock from the large doily.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I hope you enjoyed my card.
