Flower Pot Thank You Card -Freshly Picked Cartridge

Hello eveyone, I'm so happy to share another lovely shape card you, I'm also sharing it over at My Craft Spot. This flower pot is cut form the Freshly Picked Cricut Cartridge from page 33 of the handbook and measures approx. 4 1/4" tall and 4 1/2" wide.
The flower pot is cut using Velveteen Paper, and I cut extra layers of leaves an flowers so I could do my wet and wrinkle technique.
I wet the cardstock, wrinkle it up and gently unfold it, then dry it using my heat tool. It just gives the cardstock a bit of a wrinkled look. I have a video showing this technique on another card -HERE.

I've used Kimberly's new"Thank You" stamp set for the two sentiments and love how they've added a beautiful touch with the two different fonts styles. The bow was tied using the Vanilla Bean Crinkle Ribbon. Both the stamp set and ribbon can be purchased -HERE in the My Craft Spot Shop.
The metal Pin Clip holding the "Thank You" sentiment is from Close to My Heart.
I used my My Favorite Things Die-namics "Mini Tabs Foursome" metal dies to cut out the "for your kindness".
Added Recollections flat back sticky pearls to the center of the flowers.
Thanks for visiting, have a lovely day!

Have a Happy Day -Tiddly Inks Digital Stamp

Hello crafty friends,
Posted this second fun project over at My Craft Spot today. I have been playing again with my digital stamps from Tiddly Inks, this super cute image is Belinda and can be found -HERE. I also used the suitcase image for the background paper and the inside of the card, this digital stamp is a freebie at Tiddly Inks -HERE.
I've used the Tiny Tags 2 stamp set with the coordinating Tiny Tags metal die for my sentiment, love this stamp set and die!  The crinkle ribbon is Spring Moss, the traditional twine is Chocolate. All of which can be purchased at My Craft Spot -HERE.  Added a zigzag stitching around the layered images using my sewing machine.
For the background of the image I cut using my spellbinder die "Big Scalloped Circle" along with one of the circle dies for the green cardstock.
I used my copic markers to color the image and paper pieced her jacket, hat and the ribbon on the hat, I love paper piecing these images!
Copic Marker Colors:
Skin: E11, E13, R20
Dress and Socks:  Y00, Y21, YR24
Bag: E13, E35, E29
Shoes: E01, E13, E15
Hair: E50, E31, E13, E25
Outline: C1
See those tiny yellow brads in the bottom left corner, I stamped the flower on them using black stazon ink.... so cute!  The tiny flower stamp is from Kimberly's "Butterfly Kisses" stamp set, again purchased from My Craft Spot -HERE.
I used my printer to print the suitcase on the inside of the card.
Thanks for joining me today, I hope you were inspired in some way :)

Turtle Baby Shape Card -So Adorable

Hello friends, I so happy to share a super sweet project with you today here and over at My Craft Spot. One of my friends will be having her first baby any day now and it's a girl!  My daughter and I made a no sew fleece tie blanket for her, it's pink with adorable turtles on it, so made a the cutest turtle shape card to match.
Did you ever think a turtle could be so adorable?
The crinkle ribbon is Spring Breeze and the cute sentiment is from Kimberly's brand new New Arrival Stamp Set, the sentiment on the inside of the card is also from the same stamp set.
Both can be purchased at My Craft Spot.
Video below:
I've cut the turtle from the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge at 3" tall, using my gypsy welded two turtles together for the shape card. The face stamp is a sweet Peachy Keen stamp Critter faces medium size.
Added a wild Orchid Crafts rose and attached a tiny little safety pin with three tiny beads to the ribbon.

Christmas In July -My Craft Spot Project

We're half way through the year and it's time to think of crafting for the holidays. When I was little my dad would tell me "the older you get the quicker time goes by", I never understood that saying as a child... but now I totally understand.

This weeks challenge at My Craft Spot
Christmas in July
Christmas cards or gift box
I made a few Sour Cream containers, fill with Hershey Kisses and you have a great gift for friends or neighbors. There is a great tutorial on Split Coast Stampers -HERE on how to make these.
Tied the sour cream containers using Vintage Pine and Cranberry crinkle ribbon. I used George and Basic Shapes cricut cartridge to cut the star out of silver cardstock at 2 3/4", used a button and Holly Berry twine, and heat embossed with silver the beautiful saying "May the wonder of that first Christmas be with you always." This sentiment is from My Craft Spot's "Merry Christmas" stamp set, the crinkle ribbon, twine and stamp set can be purchased -HERE
The design team at My Craft spot has more "Christmas in July" projects to share with you, so head over to My Craft Spot and see what they've created... and join us for this weeks challenge Christmas in July -HERE.

Hello friends,
I have discovered another wonderful digital stamp company and wanted to share... Tiddly Inks!  Ok, maybe I'm a bit late discovering them, but I'm so glad I did. The designer, Christy, has the cutest images and I'm sharing this adorable "Baby Girl" digital image with you today. I love how she is grabbing her little toes... I used to be able to do that... LOL. This little baby is wearing a "designer diaper".... oh she's so cute!
I have a friend that gave birth to a baby girl just a few days ago so I really enjoyed making this card for her, she has three boys and now she has her girl.  That's the same as in my family I'm the youngest and only girl with three older brothers, such a lucky baby girl.
I used a scalloped spellbinder die for the baby image.
