Gwen -This and That | I love paper crafting, it all started when my son came home from his mission and wanted me to make him a scrapbook. I had no idea how to do that, so I went to a local store and the rest is history. I have 6 wonderful kids and 9 grand kids and an incredibly supportive husband. |
Heather -The Hunny Pot | Hello, my name is Heather Peterson. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have been scrapbooking and crafting for over ten years now! It amazes me how much this hobby I love has expanded and evolved. I predominantly do scrapbook layouts, although I enjoy making cards, home dec and wood crafts as well. I especially enjoy learning new techniques and utilizing them in my projects. I find paper crafting to be very therapeutic and fulfilling. I love being able to create a small work of art that highlights precious memories that I want to preserve. So looking forward to sharing my creations with you! |
Karen -Crafted with Love by Karen | Hi everyone! First, I would like to say how happy I am to be a member of Robin's Creative Cottage Design Team! My name is Karen. I have been happily married to my husband for 20 years. Our oldest daughter is 18. She is in her first year at college majoring in Dance. My second daughter is 14. We love crafting together! She is usually right there beside me making cards and scrapbook pages. My youngest child is a boy who is 8. He enjoys playing on his flag football team. I work part-time as a secretary. I started making scrapbook pages about 6 years ago. I still enjoy making them but when I received my first Cricut I fell in love with making cards! I use my Cricut and Gypsy for just about everything I make. I also like to do altered projects like notebooks, post-it note stands, and bookmarks. I love to use stickles, bling, ribbon, brads, and buttons (just about anything glittery and pretty)! |
Kimberly -Kimberly's Crafty Spot | I'm Kimberly, a 20-something Stay at home Mother & Wife from Wyoming. I am married to my best friend, Christopher. We have two beautiful and energetic children together, a boy(8years) and a girl (4 years). They keep me pretty busy but I always find crafting to be my outlet for creativity, fun and stress relief! :) I have been crafting for the majority of my life but papercrafting for almost four years now. My passion is cardmaking and altered items. I love trying new techniques, card folds, products and of course, making crafty friends. I am really excited to be a member of this fun new design team and adventure. |
Linda -The Paper Boutique | I am an avid crafter and enjoy all things paper. In addition to crafting, I have served as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for several companies. I live in Helena, Montana with my husband, Bill and our cats, Izzy and Jackson. I am seriously addicted to my three Cricuts, my Imagine and my baby Gypsy. Sharing what I love doing with all of you is a dream come true. Please stop by my blog, and say Hi! |
Maquel -Paper Maine-iac!! | I started papercrafting in 2007, when my super supportive hubby bought me my Baby Bug and the New Arrival Cricut Cartridge when I was pregnant with our daughter....my world has never been the same! I graduated to the Expression 2 years ago, and cannot imagine my life without it! I enjoy simply creating a variety of items, but my favorites things to make are cards, 3D items, dressed-up goody bags and home decor. When I'm not crafting, I am the mother to a beautiful, energetic 4-yr old, the wife of a high school history teacher, and a full-time Labor & Delivery RN. I am so excited to be joining Robin on her newest adventure, and truly honored to be picked for her first Design Team!! |
Patty -The Crafty Kitten | Patty Bailey is a self-described paper, and rubber stamp "junkie". Her interest in crafting was sparked 20+ years ago when she married her best friend, Don, who already had several hobbies of his own, including paper-craft scale models. In her crafting career, Patty has dabbled in candy making, scrap booking, quilting, and stained glass. Even with all of these interests, Patty finds that she always returns to card making, her true love. She is constantly searching for new methods and techniques to add to her crafting repertoire. Patty started blogging over a year ago as a way to share her ideas and to challenge herself. She describes her crafting style as fun and whimsical with a focus on bright colors. This is her first go around as a Design Team member and she is thrilled to be part of Robin's Creative Cottage team. When she is not paper crafting, you can find her in the garden with her many cats, tending to her plants and koi pond. Patty loves her 100 year old home and enjoys walks in her historic neighborhood with her husband. She also spends time making projects to donate to her local veterinary hospital for their annual Needy Pet Fund craft fair. Over the coming months, Patty looks forward to meeting fellow artists and sharing her crafting journey with them. |
Sheila -SheLoveShoes | I was borne and grew up in a small town Canada. I started paper crafting in the fall of 2007, when I saw a stamping catalogue one of my friends had laying around her home. I took one look through the catalogue and was so excited because I knew I had found my favorite hobby at last! Making Cards. I’m a natural born artist, I completed a graphic arts program in college and worked as an artist for several years a life time ago. I currently work as an office administrator in Toronto where I live. Though I absolutely love my job, this hobby is my creative outlet. I believe, the cards I make are like little works of art, expressed from the heart. I find that when I’m making a card for a specific person, I am thinking about that person through the whole process. And that in itself can be the gift. |
