Day 1 Chalkboard Sentiments -New Release

Let the party begin!!!  Today is day one of the week long Stamp Release Party at My Craft Spot.
Each day Kimberly and the design team (which I'm so happy to be a part of) will be sharing projects all week long from the five new stamp sets and four metal die sets, you are going to love these new stamp sets and metal dies which will be available to purchase on Saturday November 2nd.

There will be prizes at My Craft Spot, everyday this week, then on Saturday we'll have a design team Stamp Release Party Blog Hop with prizes at each blog along the way!
Woo Hoo... so much fun Right?  Join us everyday this week!!

Today we are featuring the Chalkboard Sentiments stamp set that Kimberly has designed, I also used the oldie but goodie Tiny Banners metal die set as well as some Ivory jute string for my project.

The banners are popped up along the string line using pop dots.
I used kraft cardstock for the base of my card, and embossed using white embossing powder onto black cardstock. To give the white smudges look like you would see on a chalkboard I used white chalk.
After adhering the black cardstock I used a thin black sharpie for the corner lines on the kraft cardstock.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I hope you enjoyed my card.
You'll want to head over to Kimberly's blog (My Craft Spot) -HERE to see the other amazing projects made by Kimberly and the design team members using the Chalkboard Sentiments. Remember while you're there leave a comment on Kimberly's blog for your chance to win the Build a Valentine Stamp Set. click -HERE for My Craft Spot.

Join us tomorrow for day 2 of the stamp release party when we reveal the next stamp set which will be available for purchase on Saturday January 11th.
