Happy Mother's Day!

Hello, I wanted to wish you a happy mothers day!

I made a few cards to send to my wonderful mom and wonderful mother -in-law to let them know how much I love them and appreciate all they have done for me.
Inspiration for this card comes from  Jackie's blog "the Scalloped Edge" -HERE.
The flowers are cut from metal die from My Favorite Things Die-namic Lily
I use the Birds & Swirls Cuttlebug folder for the embossed background
Sentiment is from the Happy Easter stamp set from My Craft Spot
The flag banner is the Die-namics Fishtail Flags Stax
Close up of flowers, I used my Copic markers to add a bit of color on the inside edges.
Enjoy your day!

Day 2 -Jar Full of Christmas Stamp Set

I am loving this stamp release party and hope you are to! Today is day 2 of the party for My Craft Spot and we are giving you a sneak peek at another stamp set... Jar Full of Christmas
This stamp set coordinates perfectly with the Jar Basics stamp set and metal dies that was released in September.  You are going to love all the fun Christmas and Winter theme images in this stamp set. Once again Kimberly has given me the opportunity to design this stamp set. Thanks Kimberly.

The Jar Full of Christmas stamp set features several images that are great to place inside of the jars from the Jar Basics stamp set, or can be stamped without the jar as well.
I love these peppermint candies in this set, I'll share some fun tips on how to stamp these images in a future video.
The "happy Holidays" is from the Jar Full of Christmas stamp set which I stamped on a cut out using our Ticket metal die set; I cut this twice, once on white cardstock and next on vellum, then just layered them on top of each other off centered.
The doily on the card is the 4" doily metal die available from My Craft Spot.
I used my Copic marker C1 to add a bit of color to the jar and the candy jar lid.
I stamped several of the candies directly on the jar using the masking technique, then stamped the candy wrapper on cardstock vellum, I then stamped the candy swirl in red ink on white cardstock punched it out using a 3/4" hole punch. I hand cut around the candy wrappers then glued the candy swirl in the center of the candy wrapper. Tied the jar using Christmas Candy Cane bakers twine.
The black border is a Martha Stewart punch, scalloped dot.
 Side view of the card.
I added a few more candies to the inside of my card.
Thanks so much for visiting!
You'll want to see more project using the new Jar Full of Christmas stamp set, so head over to My Craft Spot to see the fun projects made by Kimberly and her design team. Favorite Technique -My Craft Spot Challenge

Hello everyone, each Monday there is a new challenge at My Craft Spot this week is challenge #111... that's a lot of challenges, and there is always something fun to challenge you and get your creative juices going.
This weeks challenge...
Favorite Technique
what is your favorite technique?  Share your project with us for this weeks challenge at My Craft Spot.

I had so much fun making this shaker card, I included two of my latest favorite techniques ... Coloring with Copic Markers, and Sewing using my sewing machine.
I used several supplies from My Craft Spot:
Stamp Sets: Jar Basics, Jar Full of Fall and Happy Thanksgiving
Metal Dies: Jar Basics, Ornate Labels
Crinkle Ribbon: Caribbean
Sequins (brand new product): Chocolate Sundae
All products can be found -HERE.
I'll have a video of how I made this card, just as soon as I edit it. :) ... coming soon...
I hand cut this banner, the phrase is from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set, here you can see the machine zig-zag stitching too. I also added the Caribbean crinkle ribbon under the jar lid.
The jar was stamped using the Jar Basics stamp set, and cut out using the Jar Basics metal dies. My acorns are stamped from the Jar Full of Fall stamp set and colored using Copic markers. Inside the jar is the Chocolate Sundae Sequins.
The brown strip of cardstock that I used a border punch from Recollections.
I used a double layer of craft foam (fun foam) to make the shaker box, and a piece of clear acetate for the window, I cut it using my Jar Basics metal die.
This is the inside of my card, the phrase is again stamped from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set, then added another colored acorn.

Remember to head over to My Craft Spot to see more 'Favorite Techniques' projects made by the My Craft Spot design team -HERE. We would love you to join us for this weeks challenge

I'm thrilled to share my "blog hop" project with you and I couldn't resist starting with my Jar Basic metal die as well as the Jar Basics and Jar Full of Fall stamp sets to create today's card, I also used crinkle ribbon and jute twine all new stamp sets and metal dies are available today at My Craft Spot.
I used the small jar, from the Jar Basic metal die the jar stamp image is from the Jar Basic stamp set, I  tied Natural and Olive jute twine around the jar.
All my images were colored using Copic markers, I hand cut around each image.
Copic coloring video coming soon.
I tied a simple bow using the Totally Green crinkle ribbon and added one more leave on top of the bow.
Another view of the pumpkins and leaves.
Side view, I added thick foam tape to give this card lots of dimension. I love these cute pumpkin faces!

Day 5 -Jar Full of Fall Stamp Set

Hello all my friends, I hope you have followed along this week for the fabulous Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot, I know the design team and I have really enjoyed sharing many inspiring projects with you as today, day 5, the inspiration continues.
We are showing a sneak peek of the new Jar Full of Fall stamp set, that I designed coordinates with the Jar Basic stamp set

The new Jar Full of Fall has so many great Fall images you are going to love. I used the candy corn which has two sizes, as well and the word "October" the word "sweet" is from the Jar Basics stamp set. The bakers twine is Orange Licorice that I tied around the jar.
My banner that I stamped the words on was cut from the Lacy Banners metal die, I cut two banners one from white card stock and the other from black, then layered the black behind the white and added some fun zig zag stitching using my sewing machine.
The black border was punched with the EK Success Swirls border punch.
There are two fun sizes of candy corn in this stamp set, so I stamped two large corns directly on  the jar, then stamped two more large and four small on cardstock then cut them out by hand added them on the card using pop-up dots.
I used Copic markers to color the jar and candy corn. The inside edges of the jar: C1, the candy corn yellow: Y18, Y21 the orange area: YR04, YR07.
Tied the jar with Orange Licorice baker twine, and used thick foam tape to pop-up the candy jar lid.
Inside of the card, I added one more hand cut large candy corn.
Thanks for joining me for day 5 of my sneak peek, please join us tomorrow for the My Craft Spot blog hop where the design team will once again inspire you with more projects using one of the 5 new stamp sets or metal dies, also each design team members (including myself) will be giving away one of the 5 stamp sets or metal dies, generously provided by Kimberly.

Day 2 -Jar Full of Halloween Stamp Set

I am loving this stamp release party and hope you are to! Today is day 2 of the party for My Craft Spot and we are giving you a sneak peek at another stamp set... Jar Full of Halloween
This stamp set coordinates perfectly with the Jar Basics metal dies and you are going to love all the fun Halloween theme images and phrases. Once again Kimberly has given me the opportunity to design this stamp set. Thanks Kimberly.

With this stamp set you will be creating endless fun and spooky projects for Halloween.
I used the Jar Basic stamp set along with the coordinating Jar Basic metal die, Marmalade crinkle ribbon for the bow, Black jute twine as well as today's featured stamp set Jar Full of Halloween.
The images from Jar Full of Halloween stamp set that I used are the bubbles, witch hat, high heel shoes, spider web and three words "spells", "Magic" and  "potions".
The Jar and lid stamp are from the Jar Basics stamp set, both were cut out using the Jar Basic metal die set as well as the tag.
I used my Copic markers to color the fun bubbly potion, using YG93, YG95, YG99 the inside of the jar I used C1.  Notice the spiderweb stamped onto the tag (this neat web image fits perfectly inside the jar too). Then I stamped a word to each tag tied around the jar using the Black Jute Twine.
Check out this fun witches hat and her spooky spiderweb high heel shoes... I love them! The Copics I used on the hat and shoes are: BV01, BV13, BV17  the hat band and buckle: Y18, YR24, C5 the lid: C1, C5, C7.
Side view of my card to show the dimension, I added foam tape to lift the hat and shoes as well as the tags, and added a strip of the spiderweb patterned paper to the inside of the card to finish.

This stamp set includes two sizes of jars, I'm using the tall jar on my card, the die cuts leave a prefect narrow white edge around the jar. I also used the 4" Doily and Small Alphabet metal dies as well as Natural Jute Twine on my card, these items are for sell now in the My Craft Spot shop -HERE.
This cute tag is also one of the dies in the Basic Jar die set.  I use Natural Twine around the jar and tied the the tag.  The Jar Basics stamp set has several small word that fit perfectly inside to tag.
The butterflies are cut out of wool felt using the Small Alphabet die set.
I used a Copic marker (C1) to add a bit of color to the inside edges of the jar.
Inside of the card, I added one of the die cut felt butterflies.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, I hope you enjoyed a quick look at my card.
