Pilgrim Frame Give Thanks -A Childs Year Cartridge

I'm guest designer at Everyday Cricut all week long.

Thanksgiving is a time of thanks, a time to gather family and friends together and eat all day long... ok some where in there we take a nap.

Today I'm sharing a lovely Thanksgiving card that I designed in Design Studio, I've used three cartridges for this card, A Child's Year for the pilgrim people, George and Basic Shapes for the oval frames and the rectangle layers, then I used Doodletype for the words "Give Thanks"

Guest Designer for Everyday Cricut -Leaf Shape Card

I'm so excited that Joy from Everyday Cricut asked me back as a guest designer this week, I had a blast in June when I go to share a few Summer and Father's day projects, view those posts -HERE. This week I'll have a few Fall, Thanksgiving and then Christmas/Winter projects. I hope you'll join me all week long and gather some awesome inspiration for your crafting projects.

I love Fall, it's a gorgeous time of year, I love to see the beautiful colored leaves on the trees, although most are now covering the ground ready to be raked into a huge pile and then jumped into by smiling faces, young and old. :)

My first inspirational project this week is a lovely leaf shaped fall card, I added a birthday sentiment, but it surely could be used for any type of greeting. I have a Design Studio cut file for this project at the end of this post.

Below is a photo of all that cuts that I used for my card, obviously they are different colors then the above photo, and that's because I'll will be making another card using different colors and this time I'll make a video of the step by step process and that will be coming soon, keep a watch out for it.

Snowman Card --using Cricut Cartridge Winter Woodlands

It's Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog, and this week it's a Color and Shape challenge.

Do you love snowmen... I love snowmen and that saying "Snowmen melt your heart" is true for me. I do hope we will get lots of snow this year, however, I heard that it may be a mild one here, so we'll just wait and see. But in the mean time I can create the cutest snowman here in my crafting space. This snow man is from Winter Woodlands cricut cartridge on page 46 of the booklet and cut at 6 1/2".

For my circle shape I added two green buttons to my cute snowman.

I popped up the snowman from the card to add dimension.

It's a Bird Bonanza!

Today at Fantabulous Cricut the challenge is to create a project using something having to do with a bird (bird cage, owl, bird, etc.).

I love this bird from the Home Decor cricut cartridge so I couldn't wait to cut him out, I like to think of him as my "Fall Birdie" he's just too cute and ready to sing me a song.
The branch is from Home Decor as well, I cut it out twice using a light brown cardstock and a dark brown to give a bit of a shadow look.
