Blog Hop Order:
Ally
Robin (you are here)

I'm thrilled to share my "blog hop" project with you and I couldn't resist grabbing my Small Alphabet Metal Die to create my card these dies are so fun, I love the shapes in this die set too.
I started with this great patterned paper from October Afternoon Travel Girl it's an 8"x 8" pad, I love the pattern papers in this collection, so the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this sheet of paper that I used on my card was my daughters friend... she loves Paris, and hopes to go their someday.
So my card is dedicated to all you Paris lovers.
The Eiffel Tower is cut out in grey textured cardstock using my Silihouette Cameo, the image can be found -HERE.  I sponged the edges using a dark grey ink, then again gently sponged the edges and top with a bit of white ink, the textured cardstock really gives the tower a weathered look.
I wanted the tower to pop off the card, so I used a double layer of black craft foam (fun foam) to pop it up.
What is so fun about metal dies is you can cut other mediums besides paper easily, I used the dies to cut my letters and hearts out of craft foam... Love It!

Craft foam is such a solid color, and sometimes bright, so I decided to tone down the color a bit using my Tim Holtz Tea Dye ink pad.
Below is a photo of the alphabet letters cut out of craft foam un-inked. I then took my sponge tool and added ink to the top of the foam.
The photo below shows the added ink, this just gives it more of a distressed look so the foam is not so solid looking... if that makes since.
I used two types of foam and both die cut very well. The pink is just plain craft foam, the blue is sticker back. The sticker back is my favorite for using with the small letters, it makes it much easier to add to you cards.
Close up of the hearts.

The lace ribbon is from Stampin' Up, kind of gave it a frilly-vintage feel.
Added a bit of the pattern paper to the inside of the card too.
I hope you enjoyed my Paris tour of my card :)

Day 5 My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party -Tiny Tags 3

Hello all my friends, I hope you have followed along this week for the fabulous Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot, I know the design team and I have really enjoyed sharing so many inspiring projects with you, and today day 5 the inspiration continues.
We are showing a sneak peek of the new Tiny Tags 3 stamp set, designed by Kimberly, as well as a new metal die, the 4" Doily. I loved designing this doily, it's a beautiful doily with all it's intricate details.

The new Tiny Tags 3 stamp set has several tiny phrases for may different occasions, you'll definitely use this set over and over again.
For my card, I used two phrases from this set "Hello my friend" then on the inside of my card I used this fun phrase "Keep Calm and Craft On", I'm was thinking about one of my crafty friends when making this card.
The new Tiny Tags 3 is the third set in the Tiny Tags stamp set series, it coordinates perfectly with the Tiny Tags metal die set which is currently available.

My flower was made using several flat flowers from I am Roses, I crumpled them up then layered them on one another.  Behind the flower is Ivory Jute Twine from My Craft Spot and pearl sprays (if that is what  you call them).
The tags are from the Tiny Tags Metal dies, I just ran a straight stitch across all three tags using my sewing machine then added a little bling to all of the tags where the holes are, I love this fun look.
All pattened paper is from Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6x6 paper pad.

Quick look at the Tiny Tags Metal Die set now available at My Craft Spot -HERE.

The other sets are Stampin' Around Fall, Stampin' Around Christmas and Stampin' Around Spring. These stamp are so fun and have a coordinating metal die, Tiny Doilies, available for purchase now.
Remember all new stamp sets and metal dies will be available for purchase at My Craft Spot on Saturday.

I enjoyed making this lemonade stand card, and the sentiment is just perfect! When Life Gives You Lemons ~ Make Lemonade
Here is a close up of my tag using the Tiny Doily Metal die set that coordinates perfectly with the all of the Stampin' Around Stamp sets.
The Bakers Twine is also available from My Craft Spot, I used the yummy colors: Lemon Drop and Green Apple.
Notice on the awning of the lemonade stand the yellow and green pieces of cardstock has a fun pattern, these were stamped using the Brand New Patterns Blocks stamp set, which was featured on Tuesday.
Side view of my 3D tag
Below is an image of the Tiny Doilies Metal Dies, they coordinate perfectly with the Stampin' Around stamp set series.
I used three images from this set (marked with red X's). The small circle in the upper right corner I cut twice, once on white cardstock that I stamped the lemonade pitcher that I colored with my copic markers. The second circle I cut using white craft foam (fun foam), to give my tag a 3D look.
This brown pattern paper is just one that I had in my stash, but it was prefect! I inked the edges using Tim Holtz Tea Die ink pad.
The lemonade stand was purchased from the Silhouette Store -HERE.

Day 3 -My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party -Down on the Farm

Hi everyone, welcome to day 3 of the Stamp Release Party for My Craft Spot!
Remember each day, there will be prizes at My Craft Spot, then on Saturday we'll have a design team Stamp Release Party Blog Hop with prizes at each blog along the way!
Join us everyday this week!!

Today's sneak peek is a super fun phrase stamp set,"Down on the Farm", designed by Kimberly. This stamp set is fun and whimsical, you'll enjoy adding these sentiments to your cards and projects.

Isn't this the cutest little farmer boy, oh he is so sweet!  He stands on my card to share a greeting for a good neighbor.
This image was cut using my Silhouette Cameo, purchased from the Silhouette Store -HERE.
I stamped the sentiment on a cloud die from My Favorite Things (die-namic Cloud Trio).
I love the patterned background, I made it by stamping with a versamark ink pad using the new Patterns Blocks stamp set that was featured yesterday by My Craft Spot's design team.
HAY there, neighbor!... a really fun sentiment!
I used a Peachy Keen face stamp for my little farmer, PK-570 Basic Paper Doll Face Assortment Pack. Used a light pink marker inside of his mouth.
I inked all the pieces using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo or Tea Dye ink pads.
The hay bale was hand cut using strips of cardstock, I crinkling them up a bit then inked the edges, then layering the pieces on one another, finished with two strips of brown cardstock.
