Day 1 My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party ~Tasty Treats

Let the party begin!!!  WooHoo, today is day one of the week long Stamp Release Party at My Craft Spot.
Each day Kimberly and the design team (which I'm so happy to be a part of) will be sharing projects all week long from the five new stamp sets and three metal die sets, you are going to love these new stamp sets and metal dies which will be available to purchase on Saturday the 29th.

Each day, there will be prizes at My Craft Spot, then on Saturday we'll have a design team Stamp Release Party Blog Hop with prizes at each blog along the way!
Woo Hoo... so much fun Right?  Join us everyday this week!!
Today, for day one we are featuring the new stamp set designed by Kimberly, "Tasty Treats". What a great set to add sentiments to all your yummy treat cards, there is even a cute get well sentiment that I'm using on my fun shape cards today.
"Sending you a Cup Full of get well wishes"
My tea cups were so fun to make, I used a flourish tea cup design (includes 4 images) from the Silhouette Store found -HERE.
I made the image into a shape card, for the top layer, the flourish I used vinyl... how fun is that!  Yea I could have used cardstock, but vinyl is already sticky on the back so it was so easy to adhere, plus It gives a fun texture to my card and I  think it gave it a really cool look :)
The pattern paper is from My Minds Eye -My Girl 6"x 6" paper pad.
My mom just had surgery the other day to replace her shoulder bone "ouch"! So I wanted to send her a get well card, since I'm not able to be there.
The tags are a fun idea because each of my girls will get to write a personal note to grandma which is tucked into a little pocket that I made for the inside of the card. (I hand cut the pockets, nothing fancy).
The tags were cut again using my Silhouette Cameo, the pattern is from Lori Whitlock and can be found -HERE.
I used four different colors of Kimberly's crinkle ribbon for each tag, Sky Blue, Snow White, Buttercup, and Petal Pink, then tied each ribbon with ivory jute twine, all available at My Craft Spot.
I love the get well saying in the Tasty Treats stamp set, and the fonts are really fun!  The scallop circles are from the Tiny Doilies Metal Dies available at My Craft Spot -HERE.
I cut out two circles of each color, then stamped on all four sides, the glued two together, so if the tag flips over the saying can be read from both sides. I attached the tag using Ivory Jute available from My Craft Spot -HERE.
