Woo Hoo... today is day one of the Stamp Release Party at My Craft Spot, this week Kimberly and the talented design team will be sharing projects all week long from the five new stamp sets and two metal die sets, you are going to love these new stamp sets and metal dies, which will be available to purchase on Saturday.
Each day, there will be prizes at My Craft Spot, then on Saturday we'll have a design team Stamp Release Party Blog Hop with prizes at each blog along the way!
Today, day one, we are featuring the new "Postage Stamp" stamp set and "Postage Stamp Metal Dies" (2 piece die set). Kimberly gave me the opportunity once again to design the postage stamp set it's coordinating metal dies.
You will love this versatile stamp set and it's coordinating die. It's so fun for me to design a stamp set, while doing so and I often have ideas in mind for cards and projects; then I see what the design team has created using the Postage Stamp stamp set and I can't help but think.... Wow, such a clever idea, I didn't think of using like that.... love it!
I can't wait for you to see all the phrases and images that are included in the Postage Stamp stamp set.
For my project I made a set of 3.5" square cards, and used 8 images... yep 8 from the Postage Stamp stamp set and believe me there are so many more images to play with :)
I also used the Postage Stamp metal die, love this cut!
I used my Silhouette to cut these cute flower and strawberries, they're both in the same set from Miss Kate Cuttables, I love the look of those 3-D flowers.
I inked everything using the Tim Holtz Tea Dye distress ink for a great vintage look.

Below is a close up of 7 of the fabulous stamps, one of the stamps is a is a script background, I've used it on the postage stamp and the lined paper below... it's really neat and gives this card just a hint of vintageness (not really a word... but I'm using it because it's sounds so fun... vintageness).
Inside look of one of the cards
Added some fun stitching using my sewing machine.
The word "you're" I've written using a pen, the "sweet" is from the Postage Stamp stamp set.
I added recollections pearls all over this card too ;)
